Duties and responsibilities
- Interpreting and implementing Human Resource management policies, strategies, regulations and guidelines;
- Coordinating payroll administration, processing and Human Resource database management;
- Implementing staff training and development programs;
- Ensuring compliance with Human Resource management practices, policies, regulations and relevant government policies and guidelines on employee management and administration;
- Undertaking annual surveys on employee satisfaction (ESS), Work Environment Satisfaction (WES) and Training Needs Assessment (TNA); and
- Undertake any other functions as may be lawfully assigned.
Job Specification
For appointment to this Grade, an officer must have: -
- At least nine (9) years’ relevant work experience and at least three (3) years as Senior Human Resource officer;
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
- Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management or any other relevant professional body;
- Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; and computer Proficiency skills.
