Role Overview
You will be the face of our client's pension offerings, visiting businesses and individuals to explain how retirement savings products can meet their long-term financial goals. Each day involves a mix of client meetings, product presentations, and follow-ups that turn interest into enrolled members. Your work directly fuels growth by expanding the customer base while deepening loyalty among existing scheme participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients—both individuals and corporate groups—through cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
- Conduct face-to-face presentations and one-on-one consultations to educate prospects on pension plans, contribution structures, and tax benefits.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through documentation, compliance checks, and account setup.
- Nurture existing client relationships by conducting periodic reviews, addressing inquiries, and recommending plan adjustments as financial situations change.
- Track all interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and timely follow-ups.
- Collaborate with internal product and customer service teams to resolve client issues and streamline the enrolment process.
- Maintain deep knowledge of pension regulations, product features, and competitor offerings to position our solutions effectively.
- Travel within assigned territories to meet clients at their offices or homes, often requiring multiple visits each week.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a closely related field; diploma holders with proven sales experience in financial services will be considered.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, insurance, or financial services. Fresh graduates with strong drive are welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and persuade others—listening skills are as important as speaking skills.
- Natural negotiation instincts and a track record of converting leads into paying customers.
- Self-starter mindset: you can plan your own day, manage a territory, and hit targets without constant supervision.
- Willingness to learn technical pension concepts rapidly and then translate them into simple, compelling client language.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort using a CRM system to log activity and generate reports.
- Availability to travel regularly within assigned regions for client visits and seminars.
