A growing logistics company is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Operations Executive to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in shipping and freight forwarding who can efficiently manage end-to-end shipment operations in a fast-paced environment.
The selected candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth coordination of cargo movements across air, sea, and land freight channels. You will be responsible for maintaining strong communication with clients, carriers, and international agents while ensuring all operations are executed accurately and in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Operations: Manage daily operations related to air, sea, and land freight, ensuring timely and efficient cargo movement.
- Coordination: Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and overseas agents to facilitate smooth logistics processes.
- Documentation: Prepare and verify essential shipping documents such as Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), invoices, and packing lists.
- Tracking & Updates: Monitor shipments and provide regular updates to clients regarding status and delivery timelines.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to customs regulations and company policies.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain service quality and efficiency.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate system records and generate operational reports as required.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of shipment processes across multiple freight modes.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage documentation and operational workflows with high accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Effective coordination with clients and partners across different regions.
- Organizational Skills: Capability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
