Role Overview
As a Network Engineer, you will deploy and maintain the routing, switching, and wireless systems that keep enterprise users and services connected. You will track network health, address emerging faults, and keep infrastructure records current so the environment remains dependable and easier to support.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement enterprise routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure.
- Optimize network settings and capacity to support reliable connectivity and performance.
- Monitor availability, performance, and security indicators to identify issues early.
- Investigate and resolve complex network incidents, equipment faults, and service degradation.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and take appropriate corrective action.
- Maintain network topology diagrams and accurate infrastructure documentation.
- Back up system configurations and record network changes for future maintenance and troubleshooting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or higher in Engineering, Telecommunications, ICT, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of overall experience in the telecommunications or ICT sector.
- At least five years of relevant experience, including implementation of one or more projects of comparable nature and complexity.
- Recognized networking certification, such as CCNA, CCNP, or an equivalent qualification.
