Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist specializing in Radiology to join our healthcare team. This role requires a professional who can accurately convert voice-recorded medical reports into written documents while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transcribe audio recordings of medical dictations into clear, accurate, and well-structured reports
• Review, edit, and proofread transcribed documents to ensure correctness and consistency
• Interpret complex medical terminology, abbreviations, and radiology-specific language
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to documentation protocols
• Coordinate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure clarity and accuracy in reports
Requirements:
• Diploma or certification in Medical Transcription or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience working in a healthcare or clinical environment
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, especially in radiology documentation
• Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage
• Typing speed of 55–60 words per minute with high accuracy
