Mechanical Draftsman

Ace Cranes & Engineering FZ-LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join its engineering team in Ras Al Khaimah. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in mechanical drafting, 3D modeling, and fabrication drawing preparation within the heavy engineering or metal fabrication industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate engineering drawings, preparing Bills of Materials (BOM), updating as-built drawings, and developing detailed 3D models using industry-standard software. Candidates with experience in tanks, piping, metal structures, and equipment enclosures will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) and fabrication drawings for tanks, piping, and metal structures.

• Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.

• Create and update as-built drawings based on completed products.

• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing and fabrication processes.

• Design container and enclosure drawings for DG sets, switchgears, and related equipment.

• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy and project requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Experience in heavy engineering or metal fabrication will be an advantage.

• Ability to prepare GA and fabrication drawings for tanks, piping, and structural steel components.

• Experience in preparing container and enclosure drawings for DG sets, switchgears, and related equipment.

• Strong knowledge of:

• AutoCAD

• SolidWorks 3D Modelling

• Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation and fabrication drawings
