Role Overview
This position leads the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across physical showrooms, digital channels, and live events, ensuring every customer touchpoint consistently reflects the company's brand identity. You will act as the bridge between internal departments—Sales, Product, Showroom, and Procurement—and external vendors, translating business objectives into concrete campaigns that drive foot traffic, generate leads, and support revenue targets. Success in this role means turning strategy into action: coordinating materials, supervising a small team, monitoring performance data, and adjusting tactics quickly based on real-world results.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing activity plans aligned with sales goals, then adjust priorities as market conditions shift.
- Oversee brand consistency across all showrooms, printed collateral, website content, and social media posts, conducting regular on-site checks to verify display quality and message accuracy.
- Manage deliverables from designers, photographers, printers, and agencies, coordinating timelines so that brochures, catalogues, posters, and in-store displays arrive on schedule and within budget.
- Plan and run promotional campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, reviewing engagement and lead metrics to determine what content actually resonates with the audience.
- Coordinate showroom-specific promotions and seasonal activations, working with store managers to identify local opportunities that boost visitor numbers and conversion.
- Organise logistics for product launches, trade exhibitions, corporate events, and sponsorship activities, covering supplier bookings, branded materials, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Conduct structured market research—visiting competitor locations, monitoring their campaigns, analysing pricing and positioning—then compile findings into actionable intelligence reports for management.
- Supervise and train marketing team members, assigning workloads, reviewing output quality, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages fresh ideas.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; CIM or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- At least 3–5 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 1–2 years spent supervising or leading a marketing team or project group.
- Previous experience in retail, building materials, ceramics, construction, FMCG, or a comparable industry is strongly preferred, especially exposure to showroom operations or trade marketing.
- Hands-on familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media management, including campaign setup, content scheduling, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for budget tracking, data analysis, trend presentation, and management reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously—prioritising deadlines, coordinating suppliers, and maintaining accurate records without losing attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present recommendations to senior stakeholders and negotiate effectively with external partners.
- A creative mindset combined with a pragmatic approach, able to design marketing solutions that work within existing budgets and operational constraints.
