A company in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Logistics Operations Officer to manage end-to-end logistics activities, including shipment coordination, freight bookings, customs clearance, and operational cost control.
The ideal candidate should have strong UAE logistics experience with knowledge of Free Zone and Mainland operations. Candidates with experience managing cargo agents, shipping lines, and multiple stakeholders are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inbound and outbound shipment operations.
• Coordinate freight bookings across Air, Sea, and Land transportation.
• Handle customs clearance processes and documentation.
• Monitor logistics costs and support cost-control activities.
• Coordinate with cargo agents, shipping lines, and service providers.
• Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage daily logistics operations and resolve operational issues.
Requirements:
• 4–6 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of UAE logistics operations and customs procedures.
• Experience with Free Zone and Mainland shipments.
• Experience coordinating with cargo agents and shipping lines.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
