Logistics Manager

Global Alliance Group DMCC is looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive expertise in international shipping, import and export operations, and commodity or polymer trading.

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end logistics operations, coordinate with global shipping partners, manage shipping documentation, and optimize logistics costs. Candidates with strong negotiation skills and experience handling international trade across multiple regions are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end import, export, and cross-trade shipments.

• Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers.

• Monitor vessel schedules, ETD, ETA, rollovers, and port delays.

• Negotiate freight rates, free time, detention, and demurrage charges.

• Prepare and manage shipping, customs, and logistics documentation.

• Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Coordinate shipments across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Djibouti, Africa, Europe, and CIS countries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics and shipping.

• Strong knowledge of import, export, and cross-trade operations.

• Experience working with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and freight forwarders.

• Experience in polymer, petrochemical, chemical, or commodity trading is preferred.

• Strong freight negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
