Hiring: Logistics Officer | Dubai (On-site)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Officer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling client profiles, customs documentation, import and export procedures, shipment coordination, and ensuring the smooth execution of air and sea shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle profiles of different clients and maintain accurate documentation
- Process all types of Customs BOEs, EXIT entry documentation, and claim submissions
- Register new products and create FIRS & FITR applications through the Dubai Municipality portal
- Prepare and manage import and export documentation
- Prepare AWBs through Calogi and maintain proper records of all documents for future reference
- Visit airports and seaports for shipment handovers and customs inspections when required
- Coordinate with agents and clients to ensure the smooth execution of air and sea shipments
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and agents
- Support business development efforts and assist in onboarding new clients
Requirements
- Must have 3–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs operations
- Must have practical experience with Dubai Customs procedures, including Customs BOEs and EXIT entry documentation
- Experience with Dubai Municipality portals, including product registration and FIRS & FITR applications
- Strong knowledge of import and export documentation
- Experience preparing AWBs through Calogi
- Good knowledge of air and sea freight operations
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and documentation processes efficiently
- Must have experience in the UAE logistics market
