Description:
A company in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support import and export operations. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, shipment coordination, and logistics processes.
This role is suitable for candidates who are available on their own visa and can effectively coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, banks, and customs authorities to ensure smooth shipment clearance and documentation compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage import and export shipping documentation.
• Support shipment planning, preparation, and clearance activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely documentation and shipment processing.
• Maintain accurate records and perform stock reconciliation between imports and exports.
• Prepare and submit Letter of Credit (LC) documents while ensuring compliance with banking requirements.
• Liaise with banks regarding LC/LOA documentation, amendments, and submissions.
• Ensure logistics processes are completed accurately and within required timelines.
Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Understanding of local customs requirements and shipment clearance processes.
• Own visa holders preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage documentation efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Import and export documentation procedures.
• Customs compliance and shipment clearance.
• Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and banking coordination.
• Logistics operations and inventory reconciliation.
