Job Title: Liquor Shop Attendant
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Liquor Shop Attendant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily liquor sales operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining efficient stock and inventory practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection, providing expert recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
- Operate the POS system and handle cashier duties accurately and efficiently.
- Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries, rotating inventory, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor laws, regulations, and age verification procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Beverage Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a bar, liquor store, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, and other beverages.
- Proven sales and upselling skills.
- Experience in stock and inventory management.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
