Job Description

Responsabilities

  • Prepare and complete probate forms and court documents under the direction of the attorney and/or paralegal
  • Draft standard legal correspondence, notices, and simple pleadings Maintain and organize digital client files in our case management system (MyCase)
  • Assist with intake coordination, client follow-ups, and status updates
  • Ensure documents are accurate, properly formatted, and filed within deadlines
  • Conduct basic research related to probate court procedures and requirements
  • Coordinate e-filing of documents with the court system, when needed
  • Provide general administrative support to legal staff as assigned

Skills

  • Prior experience in a legal setting preferred; experience in probate or estate planning a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be a fast learner with the ability to absorb procedures and templates quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and online filing systems
  • Familiarity with case management software (MyCase preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
