Junior Quality Analyst
Role Overview
The Junior Quality Analyst is responsible for monitoring quality performance through data collection, process analysis, and reporting to support consistent product quality and operational efficiency. The role focuses on analysing production data, identifying quality trends, investigating process deviations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across raw material intake, feed production, solvent extraction, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, analyse, and interpret quality and production data.
- Monitor key quality metrics and identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports and dashboards.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
Process Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor critical quality control points throughout production.
- Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
- Work closely with Production and QA teams to enhance product consistency.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company quality standards.
- Support internal audits and maintain quality documentation.
- Assist in investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Animal Nutrition, Food Technology, Quality Assurance, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in quality assurance, quality control, or process analysis within animal feeds manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of quality management systems and HACCP/GMP is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts.
