Description:
A company in Dubai is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting operations, UAE VAT, and financial documentation, with the ability to support daily accounting activities efficiently.
The successful candidate will handle accounts payable, reconciliations, invoice processing, and import/export-related documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable (AP) activities and invoice processing.
• Perform bank reconciliation and vendor reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Handle commercial invoices, Bill of Lading (BL), AWB, packing lists, and import/export documents.
• Support compliance with UAE VAT requirements.
Requirements:
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Dubai/UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP), bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and invoice processing.
• Knowledge of:
• Commercial Invoices.
• Bill of Lading (BL).
• AWB.
• Packing List.
• Import/Export Documentation.
