A&S International is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its team at the Sharjah SAIF Zone. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with month-end closing activities.
This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with strong analytical skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, petty cash, and bank transactions.
• Reconcile bank, customer, and supplier accounts.
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost record maintenance.
• Prepare accounting reports and support month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure financial data is organized and updated accurately.
Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
