Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, service-oriented Juice Barista to lead the beverage preparation and day-to-day guest interactions at our premium wellness counter. Your primary focus will be to blend, press, and serve high-quality nutritional beverages, ensuring strict consistency in taste profiles, ingredient portions, and visual presentation. This position bridges fast-paced food production with consultative front-of-house hospitality; you will handle everything from checking fresh produce deliveries and operating commercial blenders to advising health-conscious clients on menu options. The role calls for a grooming-conscious team player who maintains absolute workstation cleanliness while working efficiently within a high-volume hospitality environment.

Areas of Accountability

Specialized Beverage Crafting

  • Extract, blend, and present premium juices, macro-rich smoothies, protein shakes, and concentrated health elixirs according to standardized house recipes.
  • Adapt beverage steps quickly to accommodate customer specifications, specific health goals, and allergen dietary restrictions.
  • Calibrate commercial centrifugal extractors, cold-press machinery, and industrial blenders to optimize daily liquid yields.
  • Inspect the crispness and maturity profiles of fresh herbs and raw produce daily, discarding items that miss premium baselines.

Hospitality & Front-of-House Care

  • Greet counter patrons warmly, guiding them through recipe ingredients and explaining the nutritional properties of different fruit and root pairings.
  • Record customer orders accurately, communicating special modifications clearly to the back-of-house team.
  • Resolve minor customer feedback points or delivery delays immediately on the floor with maximum professional poise.
  • Maintain sharp organizational awareness to process multiple open beverage tickets simultaneously during busy morning rushes.

Counter Sanitation & Food Safety

  • Uphold immaculate workstation cleanliness, continuously sanitizing cutting boards, counters, knives, and service glassware.
  • Break down and deep-clean commercial juicing parts before, during, and after service shifts to stop bacterial or flavor cross-contamination.
  • Enforce strict public health rules, including proper handwashing habits, correct glove use, and elite personal grooming.
  • Monitor under-counter storage temperatures to guarantee organic raw components remain perfectly crisp.

Materials Tracking & Teamwork

  • Audit daily stock volumes of fresh fruits, superfood powders, dairy products, and eco-friendly takeaway packaging assets.
  • Drive inventory organization using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) rules, minimizing structural financial waste through exact portion measurements.
  • Assist receiving teams in cross-checking vendor invoice lines against the physical quality of incoming raw produce.
  • Coordinate opening and closing duties smoothly, collaborating with servers and kitchen staff to maintain a flawless venue flow.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum Entry Criteria

  • Academic Foundation: Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, Culinary Arts, or a matching hospitality discipline.
  • Professional Longevity: Minimum of 3 years of progressive, verified experience working as a specialized Juice Barista or Mixologist within a high-end restaurant, hotel, café, or active wellness center.
  • Machinery Competency: Proven expertise operating, dismantling, and cleaning heavy-duty industrial juicers, professional blenders, and commercial beverage stations.
  • Hygiene Foundations: Practical knowledge of food handling safety protocols; a valid Food Safety and Hygiene or HACCP certificate is a distinct advantage.
