Applicants should:
Hold relevant academic qualifications (Master’s or PhD depending on the role; Tutorial Fellows require at least a Master’s in progress).
Have prior teaching, research, or professional experience in the relevant discipline.
Demonstrate strong communication, instructional, and research skills.
Be familiar with university teaching frameworks, curriculum development, and accreditation standards.
Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with University of Embu’s mission of advancing education, research, and innovation.
Senior roles (Professor/Associate Professor) require extensive publications, supervision of postgraduate students, and leadership in academic programs.
Lecturer and Tutorial Fellow roles require teaching competence, research potential, and student mentorship.
