Role Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and autonomous IT & Systems Officer to manage the digital backbone of our private aviation charter company. In this role, you will transition from rapid-deployment projects, such as building a functional commercial website, to the long-term maintenance of cloud-based systems and CRM integrations. You will be the sole technical authority responsible for ensuring that our networks, hardware, and automation workflows operate without interruption. This position is ideal for an IT generalist who excels at independent problem-solving and has a proven track record of deploying live digital assets in a commercial environment.

Functional Responsibilities & Critical KPIs

Infrastructure & Web Deployment

• Website Delivery: Build and launch a fully functional company website from scratch within the first 10 days of your start date.

• Systems Integration: Design and test all automation and notification workflows to ensure seamless operations before the platform goes live.

• Network Monitoring: Maintain and monitor the organization’s hardware, software, and communication tools, including Google Workspace and email systems.

• Hardware Maintenance: Remotely support the installation and configuration of routers, printers, and computers for the staff.

Security & Support Operations

• System Uptime: Maintain 100% uptime during business hours, with a commitment to resolving any outages within a 2-hour window.

• Data Protection: Implement rigorous system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Ongoing Security: Ensure all digital assets are updated and secured against emerging threats on a continuous basis.

• Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external service providers and handle domain and web hosting administration.

Professional Requirements

Background & Experience

• Academic Background: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Technical Tenure: Minimum of 3 years in IT, web development, or systems management.

• Proven Portfolio: Must have personally built and deployed at least one live commercial website from scratch.

• CRM Expertise: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot or equivalent) and integrating third-party APIs.

Essential Competencies

• Autonomy: Ability to manage complex systems and security protocols independently without a senior technical team.

• Administration Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace, domain management, and user access control.

• Responsiveness: Must be reachable outside standard hours to address critical system failures.

• Technical Setup: Possession of a personal laptop, smartphone, and high-speed, reliable internet connection is mandatory.
