Role Overview
As an IT Support Engineer, you will keep the systems and services used across TAD Logistics Group’s JAFZA operations reliable and available. The day-to-day work spans resolving user and application issues, maintaining networks and Windows servers, and supporting the business tools, backups, and recovery processes that help logistics teams continue working.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for IT equipment, infrastructure, software, and business applications, investigating issues through to resolution.
- Maintain LAN and WAN connectivity, wireless access, VPNs, firewalls, and related network services.
- Administer Windows Server systems, including user and access management through Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Support Microsoft 365 services and help maintain backup and disaster recovery arrangements.
- Diagnose network, system, and application faults, recording findings and fixes clearly.
- Assist with Microsoft SQL Server support and the maintenance of business applications built with VB 6.0.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Three to four years of practical experience in IT support and infrastructure operations.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall technologies.
- Experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft SQL Server, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.
- Ability to support or troubleshoot legacy VB 6.0 business applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
