Senior Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

CMS Printing Press LLC is hiring a Senior Maintenance Engineer to keep its production equipment dependable and operating efficiently at its Dubai facility. You will lead day-to-day maintenance work, help technicians resolve faults across mechanical, electrical and automation systems, and work with production colleagues to limit interruptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise daily maintenance activity and oversee equipment servicing, repairs and reliability.
• Investigate machine faults and carry out or guide troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and VFDs.
• Direct maintenance technicians and allocate work for preventive and corrective tasks.
• Review equipment performance and identify practical improvements to reduce breakdowns and improve operating efficiency.
• Keep maintenance documentation accurate and uphold applicable safety and operational requirements.
• Coordinate repair and servicing schedules with production teams to manage downtime.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Eight to ten years of industrial maintenance experience; experience in printing or packaging manufacturing is preferred.
• Practical capability in mechanical and electrical maintenance, PLC fault-finding and VFD troubleshooting.
• Experience overseeing technicians and coordinating maintenance operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the leadership skills to guide a maintenance team.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
