Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare cash calls and distributions using the investment accounting module.
- Create cash call and distribution notices.
- Reconcile capital balances between the investment accounting module and the general ledger (GL).
- Record journal entries and prepare financial statements for investment entities.
- Process monthly profit and loss rollups in the investment accounting module.
- Maintain entity-level waterfall models for promote calculations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly explain complex financial data.
- Experience with an industry-standard Investment Accounting System (e.g., Investran, Geneva) is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in real estate investment accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, investment accounting, finance, or administration.
- Knowledge of U.S. investment laws is a plus.
- Understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles related to investment valuation and reporting is a plus.
