Inventory Manager

Role Summary

Zeno is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to manage inventory control, optimization, and execution across multiple locations in Kenya. This role is critical to ensuring the availability of parts, spares, and finished goods that support Zeno’s production, aftersales, and field operations. You will cover inventory across all of Zeno’s hardware products and implement systems that ensure inventory accuracy, reduce excess stock, and create scalable foundations for Zeno’s growing business.

What You’ll Do

  • Inventory Ownership – Own end-to-end inventory management, including receiving, storage, stock reconciliation, and dispatch of components and finished goods.
  • Inventory Tracking – Establish and implement robust processes for inventory tracking, cycle counting, and audits to ensure accuracy. Design and implement dashboards and reports to enable data-driven inventory planning and decision-making.
  • Inventory Management – Optimize inventory levels to support production, aftermarket service, and field operations while reducing working capital locks.
  • ERP Implementation – Implement digital inventory tools and ERP systems to drive real-time visibility and forecasting.
  • Spares Planning – Manage spares planning and logistics to provide timely support to service and field teams in Kenya and other regions.
  • Collaboration – Work with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, materials management, and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Proven experience implementing and operating ERP or digital inventory management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-location inventory and field logistics across geographies.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams including supply chain, production, logistics, and service.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Company-sponsored healthcare plan.
  • Join a world-class team of engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs from across the globe who are part of the inevitable trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric!
