Job Description

Role Overview

This internship is designed for students and recent graduates who want to turn academic knowledge into hands-on professional capability. You will join our finance and accounting team, where your day-to-day work will involve supporting real financial processes, from data entry and reconciliations to reporting and record-keeping. Your contributions will directly help us maintain accurate and timely financial operations, while giving you a solid foundation for your future career.

We welcome applications from final-year students, recent graduates, and continuing students who are motivated to learn in a practical environment. While a background in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred, we place real value on attitude, initiative, and a willingness to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, and payment documentation
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reconciliation activities across multiple accounts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Help compile financial data for internal reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Organise and file financial documentation to ensure records are audit-ready and easily retrievable
  • Respond to internal data requests and liaise with other departments to resolve routine financial queries
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows and contribute to process efficiency
  • Carry out ad-hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Current enrolment in or recent completion of a Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent business qualification from a recognised institution
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial terminology
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and common accounting packages
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong integrity, honesty, and a sense of accountability for your work
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and a willingness to support occasional travel or after-hours duties
  • A fast learner who demonstrates initiative, resilience, and a positive team-player attitude

What We Offer / Why Join

You will gain structured exposure to how a real organisation runs its financial operations, with direct mentorship from experienced professionals. Your work will be meaningful, not just observational, and you will have the chance to contribute to projects that matter. Upon successful completion of the internship, we offer a letter of recommendation, valuable networking opportunities, and the potential to advance into future openings within our organisation.
