Internal Audit Manager

Role Overview

Live Auditors & Chartered Accountants LLC is hiring an Internal Audit Manager in Ajman to lead audit engagements and guide the team responsible for delivering them. The role involves assessing risk and control effectiveness, helping clients address weaknesses, and ensuring audit work is completed to professional standards and agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and direct internal audit assignments, from defining scope and approach through to completion.
• Review business processes and controls to identify control gaps, operational risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Set clear expectations for audit team members, oversee their work, and provide coaching and practical feedback.
• Assess audit evidence and conclusions to ensure findings are well supported and reports are accurate.
• Prepare reports that explain issues, their implications, and recommended corrective actions.
• Present findings to management and discuss appropriate responses and follow-up actions.
• Monitor engagement progress to maintain quality and meet relevant professional standards and deadlines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in internal audit within the UAE.
• Experience leading audit assignments and supervising or developing audit team members.
• Strong working knowledge of internal audit methods, risk assessment, internal control frameworks, audit planning, reporting, and compliance procedures.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving ability, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
