Description:
Garant Business Consultancy is seeking an experienced Internal Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for a professional who can independently manage the complete accounting function, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting the company’s financial operations. The position requires a proactive individual with strong accounting expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete accounting cycle and oversee daily bookkeeping activities using Tally.
• Prepare and independently submit VAT returns while ensuring compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations and deadlines.
• Process payroll and salary transfers through the WPS system via Al Ansari Exchange.
• Prepare sales reports and accurately calculate employee sales commissions.
• Perform the finalisation of books and maintain financial accuracy.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with financial reporting and support both internal and external audit processes.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and relevant government authorities when required.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Proven experience independently handling UAE VAT filing.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll and WPS transactions through Al Ansari Exchange.
• Proficiency in Tally is mandatory.
• Ability to independently prepare sales reports, calculate commissions, and complete book finalisation.
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting practices and tax regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

- UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements

- Financial reporting, reconciliations, and bookkeeping practices
