Surveyor Assistant

Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group Corporation Limited (SCEGC) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to support its surveying team on a high-rise construction project in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates with surveying knowledge who are eager to contribute to large-scale construction projects while developing their technical skills.

The successful candidate will assist with site surveying, setting-out activities, measurements, and survey documentation while working closely with surveyors, site engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Surveyor with site surveying and setting-out activities.

• Support the establishment of gridlines, benchmarks, levels, and reference points.

• Operate and assist in using surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS equipment.

• Take site measurements, maintain survey records, and assist in preparing survey reports.

• Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams to ensure accurate setting-out and execution of works.

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience as a Surveyor Assistant on high-rise construction projects is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of surveying instruments, including Total Station and Auto Level.

• Familiarity with construction drawings, coordinates, levels, and setting-out procedures.

• Ability to work effectively on an active construction site and support the surveying team.

• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

• Strong knowledge of:

 • Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS surveying equipment.

 • Construction drawings and site setting-out procedures.

 • Survey measurements, documentation, and reporting.

• UAE construction experience will be an added advantage
