Role Overview
This internship places you inside a busy human resources team, with a focused remit to support learning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Day to day, you will handle the practical logistics behind training sessions, maintain accurate learning records, and help prepare materials that keep employee development programmes running smoothly. You will also shadow project work across employee engagement and organizational development, gaining hands-on insight into how HR functions operate in a structured corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end training logistics, including room bookings, participant invitations, attendance tracking, and post-session follow-up communications.
- Maintain and update learning records, training calendars, and filing systems, ensuring data is accurate, current, and easy to retrieve.
- Draft and assemble training slide decks, handouts, and supporting resources under the guidance of the L&D team.
- Attend and observe learning and organizational development project meetings, contributing to tasks such as research, note-taking, and documentation.
- Support employee engagement and wellbeing activities, from scheduling awareness sessions to preparing feedback forms and collating responses.
- Compile reports and summaries from attendance data, evaluation forms, and training completion records.
- Assist with general HR administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and responding to participant queries, as delegated by the supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
- No previous work experience required; this role is designed as an entry-level learning opportunity.
- Involvement in student organizations, volunteer work, academic projects, or prior internships will be considered favourably.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to improve through daily use.
- Clear spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external training providers.
- Strong attention to detail and natural organizational ability, especially when managing schedules, records, and multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and sound judgment.
- A cooperative, dependable work style, comfortable receiving direction and collaborating within a team environment.
What We Offer / Why Join
This is a structured internship designed to build your professional competence in HR through real responsibilities rather than observation alone. You will leave with demonstrated experience in learning coordination, data management, and internal communication, plus a clearer understanding of your career direction within human resources. The role offers close mentorship from an experienced HR team and exposure to projects that genuinely influence how employees learn and grow within the organization.
