Job Description
HR Officer you will serve as a strategic partner to the business and will work closely with the management and the employees to align HR initiatives with business objectives. You are expected to provide consultation and guidance on a wide range of HR-related activities, including recruitment & onboarding, employee relations, talent management, compensation & benefits, performance management and process improvements including automation of HR procedures and implementations of other systems.
Job’s Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides leadership for Human Resources strategic planning.
Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
Provide guidance and consultation to managers on HR-related topics, including employee relations, performance management, talent management, and compensation.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
Provide organizational development for the company, which will include employee’s development, job descriptions, mentoring and development programs, promotions, transfers, etc.
Manage the talent management process, including workforce planning, succession planning, and career development.
Design, implement and monitor the effective on boarding and off boarding of employee.
Plan new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Responsible for effective decision making for separation (resignation, termination & summary dismissal) and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Design, implement and monitor leave management system.
Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
Designs and administers the company’s Employee Relations programs, i.e., Disciplinary Action Procedure, grievance handling, investigations, and penalties.
Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure the organization is utilizing best practices in HR.
Designs and administers a benefits plan for the company. This includes the administration of the air ticket policy, medical plans, bonus etc.
Nurture a positive working environment.
An annual budget and manning guide are devised and administered.
Ensure to provide relevant mentoring and training to the successor of the position.
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by the management from time to time.
Key Relationship Job Specification:
Education: Master’s degree in HR or a related field Experience
Minimum 3-4years of experience in Human Resource Management.
Technical Competences,
Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
