Role Overview
Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi is looking for a proactive, detail-focused HR Executive to support the full employee lifecycle across HR operations and general administration. Your days will involve coordinating recruitment, managing onboarding and exit procedures, updating attendance and payroll records, and handling visa, Emirates ID, and medical insurance processes. At the same time, you will act as a key point of contact for employees on day-to-day HR queries, which makes both accuracy and a service-oriented mindset essential to succeeding in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the recruitment cycle, including posting vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with hiring managers and candidates.
- Run employee onboarding and offboarding processes end to end, covering documentation, inductions, system set-up, exit interviews, and final clearance.
- Monitor attendance, leave balances, and payroll inputs, ensuring accurate monthly data is submitted for salary processing.
- Manage visa applications, renewals, and cancellations, and follow up on Emirates ID, medical insurance enrollment, and related government procedures.
- Maintain precise personnel files and HR records, updating databases with any changes to employee details, job status, or contract terms.
- Provide administrative and procurement support for the office, including managing supplies, coordinating with vendors, and handling facilities-related requests.
- Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, attendance, and other workforce metrics for management review.
- Support employee engagement activities and act as the first point of contact for staff inquiries regarding HR policies and documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a similar generalist role; prior experience in the UAE is preferred.
- Working knowledge of UAE labor laws, WPS, visa processes, payroll support, and HR documentation practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive employee information confidentially.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A valid UAE driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
