Role Overview
This is a client-facing position built around lasting partnerships rather than cold sales. You will look after a set of established hotel, restaurant, and café accounts, taking responsibility for everything from the moment an order is placed until it lands correctly and is billed accurately. Your daily work involves coordinating internal teams, solving practical problems, and keeping clients confident in the brand – freeing senior leadership to focus on larger commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the daily contact for a portfolio of HORECA clients, handling their inquiries, order changes, and follow-up needs promptly.
- Build a genuine understanding of each client's business model so you can anticipate their requirements and advise them with relevant product or service suggestions.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, logistics, and procurement staff to confirm that orders are ready, dispatched, and delivered on schedule without compromising quality.
- Keep precise records of orders, invoices, and credit notes, while working with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies smoothly.
- Support the Head of B2B on strategic projects, participating in planning and roll-out phases while ensuring daily account duties continue to run without interruption.
- Analyse your portfolio's purchasing patterns and client feedback to identify growth opportunities, preparing clear performance reviews and gap analyses for discussions.
- Maintain proactive communication whenever delays or issues occur, chasing internal departments responsibly and keeping clients updated until the matter is resolved.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a client services environment.
- At least three to five years of experience in account management, client services, or sales roles, with a clear history of managing multiple clients simultaneously.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the food industry, specifically the HORECA segment, and an ability to converse credibly with chefs, F&B directors, and procurement teams.
- Strong organisational skills, allowing you to track numerous open orders and deliverables without losing accuracy or missing deadlines.
- Problem-solving aptitude with the confidence to propose practical solutions in fast-moving operational settings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present data-backed summaries to clients and internal stakeholders.
- A pre-existing professional network within the local HORECA community is preferred but not strictly required.
If you believe you can take ownership of these responsibilities, please send your CV, along with a note on your relevant experience and your fit for the role, to [email protected] using the subject line "ACBLHM-0826" before 4th September 2026.
