Role Overview
This is a senior commercial leadership role for someone who takes end-to-end ownership of how the business grows: attracting clients, converting enquiries, retaining customers, and building the property portfolio. You will spend your time balancing strategy and execution, moving from pricing reviews and campaign performance to high-level negotiations with corporate clients and property partners. Your decisions directly shape revenue, occupancy, and the company’s long-term market position, with clear accountability to the CEO for results.
Key Responsibilities
- Build annual and quarterly growth roadmaps that reflect business priorities, budget constraints, and market opportunities; then break those down into measurable targets for revenue, occupancy, leads, and partnerships.
- Manage the entire sales funnel from first enquiry to closed deal and repeat business—spotting bottlenecks in conversion, implementing fixes, and reporting progress to the CEO.
- Define the marketing strategy for brand awareness and customer acquisition, overseeing SEO, campaigns, and content so that every marketing pound supports bookings and portfolio expansion.
- Track and adjust pricing, channel mix, ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy levels, using demand patterns, seasonality, and competitor movement to keep performance on target.
- Build and nurture relationships with corporates, NGOs, relocation agencies, property agents, landlords, and developers to generate a steady flow of new clients and high-quality properties.
- Lead the expansion agenda: identifying new geographic markets, property segments, and customer groups, then pitching, negotiating, and closing strategic commercial agreements.
- Develop retention and revenue-expansion initiatives such as repeat-guest programmes, referral schemes, renewal offers, and upsell opportunities, while using client feedback to improve the service proposition.
- Align the marketing, revenue, and business development teams around shared goals, removing cross-functional friction and escalating major commercial risks to the CEO.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, commerce, hospitality, real estate, or a related discipline.
- At least 6–8 years of experience in business development, commercial growth, sales, revenue management, or a related field, with demonstrable leadership responsibility.
- A proven record of managing a sales pipeline, analysing performance data, and turning insights into practical growth plans that deliver measurable results.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders and supporting high-value contracts.
- Solid leadership and communication abilities, comfortable motivating cross-functional teams and holding them accountable for shared targets.
- Problem-solving and judgement skills that allow you to react quickly to underperforming units, shifting demand, or emerging market risks.
- Hospitality, property management, real estate, or serviced-apartment experience is a distinct advantage.
