Retail Merchandiser / Visual Merchandiser

Role Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser / Visual Merchandiser, you will visit retail partners across the UAE to check how products, displays and promotional materials are presented, and whether demonstration units are ready for shoppers to use. Your observations and reports will help the brand spot execution problems, track competitor activity and identify ways to strengthen its presence in stores and online.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail locations on a planned schedule and assess merchandising against expected standards.
• Check product placement, display tables, point-of-sale materials and digital screens for visibility, accuracy and condition.
• Flag missing or damaged materials, poor placement and other gaps in in-store execution, then document them for follow-up.
• Verify that product demonstration platforms are operational and suitable for customer use.
• Photograph store conditions and prepare clear visit reports covering findings and required actions.
• Observe competitor displays, promotions and in-store marketing, noting relevant changes during store visits.
• Review retail partners’ websites, product listings, promotional banners and social media channels weekly.
• Monitor retailer campaigns and share practical recommendations for improving brand visibility.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, brand activation or retail auditing.
• Consumer electronics, laptop, IT or technology retail experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of store merchandising standards, point-of-sale execution, brand visibility and retail audits.
• Ability to assess competitor activity and identify merchandising or promotional opportunities.
• Good communication and reporting skills, with working proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• A valid UAE driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are required.
• Willingness to travel between assigned retail locations across the UAE.
