Job Summary

As a Guest Room Attendant, you will ensure guest rooms and assigned areas are impeccably clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality will directly contribute to a relaxing and memorable stay for our guests. You will work closely with the Housekeeping team to deliver the exceptional experience JW Marriott Nairobi is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities as required.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and preferences with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a guest-focused mindset.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
