Job Description

Role Overview

This position is the in-house creative force behind the bank’s entire visual presence, transforming marketing campaigns, corporate publications, and event materials into polished, on-brand designs. You will work daily alongside the Marketing, Brand & Communications team to ensure every asset—from a social media post to a board presentation—reflects the professionalism and cultural identity of a leading Islamic financial institution. Beyond producing artwork, you act as a guardian of brand consistency, reviewing external creative work and maintaining the asset libraries that keep all communications visually aligned and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design all marketing campaign assets including social media graphics, digital banners, email layouts, print advertisements, billboards, and other above-the-line materials, from concept mood boards to final production files.
  • Create culturally resonant visuals for Islamic calendar moments such as Ramadan, Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, Muharram, and Mawlid, balancing religious significance with the bank’s modern brand aesthetic.
  • Enforce and maintain the Brand Identity System across typography, color, logo usage, imagery, and tone; develop and organize a shared library of templates, logo files, fonts, and approved imagery.
  • Produce corporate and internal design work including executive presentations, annual reports, board papers, employee communications, product brochures, rate cards, signage, and branch materials.
  • Design digital experiences for social channels, website banners and landing pages, responsive email templates, and animated content using After Effects or similar tools.
  • Develop event branding and collateral such as stage backdrops, pull-up banners, programmes, badges, merchandise, exhibition stands, and activation materials; manage print production with vendors from proofing to delivery.
  • Curate and manage the photography and visual asset library, ensuring all imagery is culturally appropriate, properly licensed, and consistent with brand standards; brief external photographers and videographers for shoots and event coverage.
  • Quality-check all externally produced design work from agencies and third-party partners to ensure strict compliance with brand guidelines before approval.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Art, or a related creative field; formal certification from a recognized design institution is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of commercial graphic design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating social media, print campaigns, corporate presentations, and event collateral.
  • Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite—Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects—plus advanced PowerPoint and Word layout skills for executive-level materials.
  • Hands-on experience preparing print-ready artwork, including managing bleed, resolution, and colour profiles, and liaising directly with print vendors.
  • Background in banking, financial services, professional services, or another corporate brand environment is highly preferred; experience with Islamic or culturally sensitive design is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a structured brand identity system and produce polished executive-level documents such as annual reports or stakeholder communications.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple concurrent briefs under tight deadlines, and a disciplined approach to quality control and approval workflows.
