Role Overview
You will join the communications team at World Vision, helping to shape how the organisation is perceived across both public and internal channels. Day to day, this means producing visual and written content, managing social media calendars, and packaging complex programmatic work into stories that resonate with supporters and partners. Your contribution directly supports the organisation’s mission by ensuring every piece of communication is clear, appealing, and consistent with the brand’s character.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar, tracking engagement and adjusting strategy based on analytics.
- Design digital and print assets such as flyers, posters, reports, and social media graphics that align with World Vision’s visual identity.
- Collaborate with the regional communications team on campaign concepts, event materials, and special project deliverables.
- Conceptualise original visual ideas that translate organisational goals and impact stories into easily understood, memorable messages.
- Create short-form video content for digital platforms, including editing raw footage into polished, brand-appropriate pieces.
- Draft and refine internal communications that keep staff informed and connected to organisational news and initiatives.
- Support brand consistency by reviewing content across channels and ensuring tone, style, and design standards are upheld.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Graduated within the last two years, with demonstrated experience (internships, freelance, or academic projects) in multimedia, digital marketing, or communications.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop, alongside solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience in video production and editing, with a portfolio or examples of completed work.
- Ability to use social media management and analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and refine content strategy.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas and collaborate across teams.
- Sharp eye for current graphic design and digital media trends, and the ability to turn complex information into visually intuitive, engaging formats.
- Excellent analytical thinking, allowing you to take abstract or technical concepts and make them accessible to general audiences.
