Job Description

Role Overview

You'll join a data team that turns raw information into decisions. Your day-to-day work involves preparing large datasets for analysis, exploring patterns, and building early-stage models or reports that senior analysts and stakeholders rely on. This position is designed for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience with real business data while learning how rigorous analysis drives company choices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and standardize large, messy datasets by handling missing values, removing duplicates, and correcting inconsistencies before analysis begins.
  • Transform and reshape data so it is structured for statistical modeling, feature engineering, and business reporting.
  • Support senior team members in building, testing, and refining predictive models and machine learning prototypes using appropriate statistical techniques.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and scheduled reports that track key metrics and make complex results understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document data pipelines, model assumptions, and code changes so that every analytic step is transparent, reproducible, and easy to audit.
  • Participate in regular team discussions, sharing preliminary findings and raising questions that help refine business problems into testable hypotheses.
  • Communicate results in written summaries and presentations, translating technical outputs into clear recommendations for decision-makers.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or graduated within the last 12 months from, a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Solid grasp of core statistical concepts such as regression, hypothesis testing, distributions, and model evaluation metrics.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for extracting, joining, and aggregating data from relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one data visualization platform such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, including building charts and interactive dashboards.
  • Strong problem-solving orientation, with the ability to break down ambiguous questions into concrete analysis steps.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining data findings to audiences without a technical background.
  • Availability to complete a multi-stage hiring process that includes a video interview, an aptitude test, and a job simulation assessment.
