Job Title: Course Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Course Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of turf care, landscaping, and overall course presentation. Your expertise will directly contribute to an exceptional experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Course Maintenance: Perform regular upkeep of turf, including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and pest control to maintain healthy, playable surfaces.
• Landscaping: Maintain ornamental gardens, trees, shrubs, and other landscape features to enhance the visual appeal of the course.
• Irrigation Systems: Operate, monitor, and adjust irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering coverage and efficiency while conserving water resources.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain a variety of grounds equipment, including tractors, mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
• Course Presentation: Uphold rigorous standards for cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic consistency across all areas of the course.
• Seasonal Tasks: Assist with aeration, overseeding, topdressing, and other seasonal turf management procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate in Horticulture, Landscaping, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Proven experience in groundskeeping, turf management, or a similar role.
• Equipment Proficiency: At least 5 years of experience operating tractors and other farm machinery, with a strong record of safe and efficient use.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of course appearance and functionality.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with other maintenance staff and communicate effectively with supervisors.
