Description:
A growing car rental business in Dubai is currently looking to hire an experienced and commercially focused General Manager to lead and oversee overall business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader who has strong expertise in the UAE automotive, mobility, leasing, or car rental industry and can drive operational efficiency and business expansion.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing company strategy, financial performance, operational activities, fleet management, and long-term business growth initiatives. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple departments within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take full ownership of the company’s operational and commercial performance across the car rental business.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to support company growth and market expansion.
• Manage profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities while ensuring operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
• Oversee fleet utilization, performance monitoring, maintenance coordination, and operational planning.
• Lead and supervise daily business operations, ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners.
• Identify new market opportunities and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer acquisition.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality across all business functions.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments within the UAE mobility and automotive sector.
Candidate Requirements:
• Previous UAE experience in car rental, automotive, mobility services, or leasing industry is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and business management experience with commercial decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage operations, financial performance, and business development activities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced business environment.
