General Accountant

Purewater Technology LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to join its team at the Abu Dhabi Head Office. This role is ideal for finance professionals with a strong background in construction accounting and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records while supporting business operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations, cost control, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing organization in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Monitor project costs and assist with cost control activities.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.

• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain accurate records using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Complete additional finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within a construction company.

• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, construction accounting, and cost control.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Preference will be given to Arabic nationals.
