Role Overview

As a Frontend Software Developer at Riset Software & Systems Ltd, you will turn business requirements and design mockups into the screens people actually work in every day — dashboards, point-of-sale terminals, reporting views and data-heavy forms that sit on top of ERP and business management systems. Your work decides whether complicated processes feel simple: you will partner closely with backend developers to wire up APIs and shape raw data into interfaces that are quick, responsive and easy to scan. Because these applications carry real operational load, the small frontend decisions — how a table renders, how a form validates, how fast a page responds — have a direct effect on the teams relying on them.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React.js interfaces across ERP, POS, dashboard and business management modules.
• Convert wireframes, design files and written requirements into responsive layouts that hold up on desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
• Connect frontends to REST APIs, handling JSON payloads and every asynchronous state — loading, empty, error and success.
• Develop data-intensive views such as tables, filters, charts, reports and multi-field entry forms that stay usable as record counts grow.
• Implement client-side form validation and error handling that guides users toward a fix rather than blocking them.
• Collaborate with backend developers to agree on API contracts, trace integration bugs and refine data shapes.
• Diagnose cross-browser and cross-device rendering issues, then profile and optimise frontend performance.
• Manage your work through Git, keeping branches, commits and pull requests clean and reviewable.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong modern JavaScript (ES6+) — comfortable with modules, promises, async/await, destructuring and array methods.
• Solid hands-on React.js experience: components, hooks, state and prop flow, and component composition.
• HTML5 and CSS3 with a firm grasp of layout, spacing and typography.
• Practical knowledge of Bootstrap and/or Tailwind CSS for assembling consistent interfaces quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to build responsive web applications, not desktop-only screens.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and managing JSON and asynchronous data inside a frontend app.
• Git and version control used as part of a normal team workflow.
• Ability to debug in the browser, inspect network activity and improve frontend performance.
• Comfort reading designs and requirements, and asking the right questions before writing code.
• A background in computer science, software engineering or equivalent practical experience shipping web applications.
