Flight Operations Controller (OCC) - VFLYAIR Airlines

We are expanding our operations team and looking for a Flight Operations Controller with hands-on experience in trip support or ground handling to join our dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a trip support / handling company
• Strong understanding of flight planning, permits, and operational coordination
• Familiarity with overflight & landing permits, slots, and fuel arrangements
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in operational systems, flight tracking tools, and MS Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate end-to-end flight operations (cargo & charter)
• Arrange overflight/landing permits, slots, and handling services
• Liaise with ground handlers, fuel suppliers, ATC authorities, and airport officials
• Monitor flights in real-time and manage operational changes or disruptions (IROPS)
• Ensure all regulatory, safety, and documentation requirements are met
• Prepare and verify flight plans, fuel releases, and operational briefs
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and client updates
