Key Duties & Responsibilities
Fleet & Logistics Coordination
- Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, manage delivery schedules, and ensure timely fulfilment across routes and destinations.
Driver Supervision & Performance
- Supervise drivers, monitor discipline and productivity, and ensure adherence to operational and safety procedures.
Vendor/Carrier Management & Cost Control
- Manage vendor/carrier relationships, track logistics costs, and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost optimization.
Compliance, Records & Reporting
- Maintain accurate fleet/logistics records, handle delivery-related issues, and prepare routine performance reports as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics/supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Proficiency in logistics/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of transport coordination, route planning, and delivery operations.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
