Job Summary
- Our client is recruiting for a Finished Goods Stores Assistant who’ll be custodian of four finished goods chemical stores: Handles customer order processing, dispatch, loading, and stock replenishment from production. The role ensures accurate inventory control, safe handling of chemicals, and timely dispatch to customers or distribution teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Finished Goods Handling
- Receive finished chemical products from production
Inventory Management
- Maintain stock records (manual or ERP system)
Storage & Safety
- Store chemicals according to safety standards (temperature, labeling, segregation)
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (Expiry-based)
Issuing & Dispatch
- Issue finished goods based on approved requisitions/orders
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and issue records
Stock Control & Audits
- Conduct regular stock counts (cycle counts & full inventory)
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics
- Industrial / Applied Chemistry (for chemical environments)
- Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP systems)
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
