Role Overview
This role places you at the forefront of the bank's growth, working directly in assigned markets to bring in new customers every day. You will spend most of your time in the field—visiting businesses, community hubs, and events—to promote banking products, open accounts, and generate loans. Your success here directly drives the bank’s market presence and contributes to broader financial inclusion goals, making each sale a meaningful step toward connecting more people with formal financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and approach potential customers within designated territories to generate new business.
- Promote and sell the bank’s suite of products—including savings accounts, loans, and digital services—tailoring pitches to customer needs.
- Drive account openings, deposit mobilisation, and loan origination through face-to-face interactions and follow-ups.
- Conduct regular field sales activities such as door-to-door visits, market activations, and community engagement events.
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for customer acquisition, deposit volumes, and loan disbursement.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor offerings, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of professional experience.
- Prior experience in banking, microfinance, insurance, or direct sales is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills—able to persuade and build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and genuinely excited about sales challenges and targets.
- Willingness to work actively and regularly within assigned geographic markets, including travel.
