Job Title: Senior Farm Operations Manager

Location: Sindo, Homa Bay (Full-time, on-site)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Farm Operations Manager to lead and expand our large-scale agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep agronomic expertise with strong leadership, operational planning, and stakeholder management skills to drive production targets, efficiency, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all farm operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Manage the expansion of farm operations, including land development, infrastructure projects, labor planning, and operational readiness while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Supervise and develop field teams, setting performance targets, monitoring productivity, and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Drive operational efficiency by identifying bottlenecks, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), analyzing performance data, and introducing process improvements.
• Manage operational budgets, procurement, inventory, equipment maintenance, and logistics to ensure efficient use of resources and cost control.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, land partners, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present accurate operational reports, providing performance insights, recommendations, and corrective actions to support business objectives.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Farm Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large-scale farm operations, plantations, agri-processing facilities, or similar agricultural environments.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading large multidisciplinary field teams, managing operational performance, and driving productivity improvements.
• Operational Skills: Strong operational planning, budgeting, procurement, logistics, and resource management skills.
• Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision-making.
• Location: Willingness to be based full-time in Sindo, Homa Bay.
