Role Overview
This position focuses on expanding the company’s footprint within institutional and corporate markets by winning and nurturing high-value accounts. Day to day, you will be out in the field meeting procurement leads and executives, mapping their needs to the company’s product portfolio, and steering negotiations from first contact to signed deal. Your success directly drives revenue growth and lays the groundwork for long-term partnerships that generate repeat business and referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new institutional and corporate accounts through field visits, referrals, networking events, and industry relationships.
- Conduct face-to-face client meetings to understand operational challenges, present tailored product solutions, and demonstrate commercial value.
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and tender responses that reflect client specifications and company pricing guidelines.
- Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close contracts with senior decision-makers and procurement committees.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking every lead, opportunity, and follow-up action from initial outreach to post-sale handover.
- Coordinate with internal operations, logistics, and support teams to ensure client orders are fulfilled smoothly and on schedule.
- Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to spot new opportunities and refine sales approaches.
- Keep management informed with structured reports on sales results, client visit activity, pipeline health, and upcoming risks or wins.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in B2B, corporate, institutional, or consultative sales environments.
- Strong record of generating leads, developing client relationships, and closing six-figure or enterprise-level deals.
- Polished presentation, negotiation, and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage C-level stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of modern sales cycles, pipeline management, and CRM tools.
- Valid driving licence and the ability to travel extensively and independently to client sites.
- Self-starter mentality with a target-driven approach and the discipline to manage your own schedule.
- Excellent organisational and reporting skills, with meticulous follow-through on commitments.
