Events Sales Professional

Role Overview

As the Events Sales Professional for an upscale pet-friendly café and an Italian restaurant and lounge in Dubai, you will develop event business across both venues. You’ll guide clients from their first enquiry through booking and event preparation, working with venue managers, chefs, and operations teams to shape suitable plans and help deliver a smooth guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Attract bookings for corporate gatherings, private parties, celebrations, and other special occasions.
• Build a pipeline of prospective clients by networking with businesses, event planners, and other relevant contacts.
• Respond to event enquiries, assess client needs, prepare proposals, and follow up to secure bookings.
• Discuss event formats, menus, pricing, and special requests with clients and the venue teams.
• Coordinate information between clients, chefs, management, and operations staff before and during events.
• Track sales opportunities and work towards increasing event revenue at both venues.
• Maintain client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous event sales experience in hospitality, such as restaurants, cafés, hotels, or comparable venues.
• Knowledge of Dubai’s hospitality and events market.
• Strong networking, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Clear communication and effective coordination across clients and internal teams.
• A proactive, target-focused approach to developing business and converting leads.
• Ability to manage several enquiries and event plans at once while keeping details organised.
• Working knowledge of event sales, hospitality operations, corporate events, and business development.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related discipline is listed as an estimated qualification.
