Description:
Stewart Title is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to manage and facilitate residential and commercial real estate transactions. This role is responsible for providing professional escrow services, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring smooth closing processes while following company policies and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling escrow transactions, managing documentation, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and mitigating transaction risks. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a leading global real estate services organization while contributing to successful property transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage new escrow accounts while overseeing transaction processes from opening to closing.
• Handle escrow funds, process closing documents, and complete settlements according to company procedures.
• Act as a neutral liaison between buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and other transaction parties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies while identifying and managing potential risks.
• Provide proactive communication and high-quality customer service throughout the closing process.
• Review transaction details and resolve uncommon issues using established procedures and professional judgment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency and achieve business objectives.
• Support less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and industry expertise.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in escrow, title, settlement, or real estate services.
• Strong understanding of real estate transaction processes and closing procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
