Vertex Communication Group is seeking an experienced Email Project Manager to take ownership of a high-volume client account and oversee email campaigns from initial intake through final deployment. The company specializes in B2B email marketing and provides strategy, production, ESP and CRM management, data operations, deliverability, and reporting services to organizations across the United States.
The successful candidate will coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage campaign timelines, oversee quality assurance, and ensure every email is delivered accurately and on schedule. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work independently within a lean team while using modern project management, email marketing, and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and campaign quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming email requests and confirm all required content, audiences, send dates, and approvals before production begins.
• Coordinate email builds, internal reviews, edits, proofing, and final quality assurance.
• Verify links, audience segments, suppression lists, subject lines, and preview text before deployment.
• Schedule and deploy email campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar ESP.
• Monitor scheduled campaigns for platform errors, alerts, and deployment issues.
• Manage multiple concurrent campaigns while maintaining accurate project tracking and deadlines.
• Communicate clearly with clients, production teams, and leadership regarding timelines, scope, and campaign status.
• Maintain documentation covering naming conventions, known issues, and client-specific requirements.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of client-facing project management experience, preferably in email production, marketing operations, or agency environments.
• Experience coordinating production workflows involving multiple stakeholders and handoffs.
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as Wrike, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Hands-on ability to schedule and deploy email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar ESP.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs at different production stages.
• Excellent written communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Comfortable enforcing agreed processes, review rounds, timelines, and scope boundaries.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify campaign errors before deployment.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fully remote environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Email production, campaign scheduling, QA, and ESP deployment
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email service providers
• Project management and workflow coordination
• AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot
